Yes, we know it’s been a while since we posted something, but that’s because we are fucking busy. Ok, that was harsh, I didn’t mean that. Actually we are constantly writing beats and getting prepared to go into the studio full time to record our next album. We are collaborating with a bunch of different artist to bring you, what is sure to be, a masterpiece. All I can say from listening to the beats we’ve been creating is that this album is a lot poppier than our previous release. You’re gonna love it.

In other news, we wrote an R&B song for fun, it was just an experiment. We put it on the back burner because even though it was funny, it wasn’t an LG song. It was something entirely different and we contemplated whether it should make an appearance on the album. The great news is, that it’s being remixed and mastered and new vocals are being cut. Then it will be shopped around to real R&B artist. So hopefully an LG song will make it mainstream. Let’s cross our fingers.

For your enjoyment, this past weekend we sprayed J-Fizz with pepper spray. It was hilarious!!!

Today we feature an oldie but goodie. A throwback jam from the 3rd Liberty Gigoloz album “Too Hot Fo’ CD”. This song was recorded in 2003 by Rapsmear himself. According to Rapsmear this song strikes deep with his pass. “I remember in middle school I was really in the market for some young fresh meat to date and this one girl was all up in my business, needless to say that chick was heavy but it wasn’t what turned me off. It was her lazy eye.” Rapsmear went on to reveal the recording process with involved a lot of overdubbing and writer’s block. We hope you enjoy.

Sombody Ate My Pita Loaf

It just occured to me how much I hate my beard. I mean don’t get me wrong my face has never been warmer but the constant scratching and weird looks from girls have got to go. My ferocious face bush started a couple of weeks ago when I realized that I was super lazy. I decided that I wasn’t going to shave just because I decided I wasn’t going to shave. There was no rhyme or reason to it, it just was. So those weeks came and went and I was going to shave but the Phillies were in the World Series so I figured if someone caught me shaving they would be pissed off because people are superstitious. Then I was all like “I am totatlly shaving my beard now that the Phillies lost the World Series.” But then I came up with this really funny idea for a video and it requires me to have a beard.

So I know what you’re thinking, that deep down inside I love my beard and keep thinking up excuses not to part with it. The truth of the matter is that it doesn’t bother me, but what bothers me is people pointing it out and constantly being asked about it. Questions like “When did you start growing that?” and “Have you seen my pencil beard boy?” have started cropping up and I just can’t take the punches.

So in conclusion, I’m shaving…later.

Studio Update 11/4/09

Yes it’s November and we have a few things that we would like to update you guys on. As you know we are working hard on our new album and we are still sticking to the April 2010 release month so that’s good. Everything seems to be on schedule thus far.

We have a few new things we are working on that we would like to inform you about. We are in the process of designing T-Shirts and Stickers for LG, so if you are interested reply with a comment telling us so. Also we are working on a couple of new videos including a video series for the month of November and December.

Along with those updates we are also working on a new website. Not much different from what you’re currently looking at but we are planning some more interactive features for fans. So we will keep you posted on that.

As far as the music side of LG is concerned, we have about 12 songs laid out of the new album and we are hoping to add a couple more. We want this album to be all killer and no filler. Meaning we plan on not putting anything but straight up music on the album.

Throw Your Babies In The Air and Shake’em Like You Just Don’t Care

I know what you’re thinking, what a rude and crude title for a blog post that probably has nothing to do with babies. If you did think that then you are right, but there was a song stuck in my head by Passion Pit that I made up my own lyrics to.

Its such a nice day out that I really don’t wanna spend it indoors but chances are since my office is located in a building that I will be staying inside today. There is a brisk cool breeze that tickles my beard and I love it so much. However locked in this cubicle I will have to settle for my boss tickling my beard.

Last night I watched “Beverly Hills Cop” for the first time…I know. And I think people hype that movie up too much cause it really wasn’t that funny. I mean there was a couple of parts but nothing to write a blog about. Although the music in the movie did inspire me to write a song and i would like to showcase what I have so far right here:

Black guy gets away from the cops, but did you know that he is a cop also
puttin bananas in pipes, while hot chick helps him fight crime
and goofy detectives help also in the warehouse

I’m still working on it but it’s kinda a metaphor to the social issues in Darfur and draws a parallel to our economic crisis.
